Hello... Just as the saying (actually not really saying - more like singing) goes "Wake Me Up When September Ends", September has been reasonably bland for me but well, here a recap of what happened this past month:Monday, September 29, 2008 1) Hard Disk Resolved Yippie! My external Hard Disk is back and running - i can finally heave a sigh of relief that my music has a backup (at least until the next heart attach - touchwood!) haha. 2) Meetup with Yuk and Krys The first time the 3 of us met and it was great haha. When we were in AJ, Yuk and Krys didn't really know each other, plus we didn't really have many common friends, but now that they know each other - and are equally fun to chat with - it's just right for the three of us to meet. Should meet up often :) 3) Music Addiction Good news is i've become SUPER updated in my music knowledge now. Bad news is i'm become so addicted that i just can't stop searching for new music! haha... But it's so exciting to have so much new songs to listen to hehe... true blue music addict back! 4) VCD Weekends Well, September as mentioned is a bland month which means very few outings on the weekends which means boring me can only resort to my next best hobby (other than music), MOVIES! It was back to the rental store. And out of the 6 i rented - Bratz, PS i Love You, Be Kind Rewind, Penelope, What happens in Vegas & Definitely Maybe - only ONE was great. Sure u know which one it is :) Love Penelope haha. 5) Mid Autumn Mooncake Festival wasn't anymore a stay at home meaningless event, it was a camwhore opportunity with Kenny and Gang at their very sub-suburban Yishun. It was fun reliving childhood memories once again. haha. 6) 4BIA with Yang Sis Somehow everytime i have nothing on, and i can't ask anyone out, Yang Sis will be free. Maybe she patronises me but i dunno hahaha. But well, this time round, we went to watch 4BIA which was an interesting film to watch considering i dun watch much scary films at the cinema nowadays - it's usually rom-coms! or mainstream popular movies lol... haha. 7) Mamma Mia! Love the music from Mamma Mia!!!! haha... Gimme Gimme Gimme! haha... Ok should stop this crazy tone because the next part is "a man after midnight" which is totally wrong haha. Well, it was a nice formal indepth (quite) introduction to ABBA, the songs and music were very catchy. haha. Finally i can say i like another ABBA song other than "Dancing Queen" haha. 8) Painted Skin This just in. Yesterday (sun) i met up with Jenny after very long too, together with my dad's 2 other china friends, to watch Painted Skin. The story - a folktale about a village demon and her attempt to win the heart of a general (who is unfortunately married) - was pretty interesting. Going out with 3 china friends was quite interesting too, tho i'm quite quiet with them haha. As you can see ALOT of movies right? haha. For October, i forsee: 1) Office gathering if it's not postponed again... and again.. haha 2) Regular meetups :) 3) Leave and Offs Rest, Finally! haha... *fingerscrossed* (everytime bad things happen after i say this) Well, that's it for now. enjoy your day.... After Pride and Prejudice, i thought i could never find another movie that has as much as a resounding impact but i did. I DID!!! And little did i know it would come in the little know, much-underrated flick - PENELOPE!!! Someone get me this movie for Christmas cause i love the movie, the story, the actors, the music, the message... EVERYTHING!!!Saturday, September 27, 2008 I am really happy and esctatic over this new found fave. Simply heartwarming, it's the FIRST MOVIE after P&P that i've watched AGAIN after the first play! Well, to keep it simple, here are 7 good reasons why i love PENELOPE: 1) It is a Romantic Comedy (haha) HELLO? Rom-com fan here. Nothing i love more than a romance story with a light-hearted tone from start to end. 2) Message the movie conveys Obviously, if you've read the synopsis of the movie, you would know it's about a snout-faced female looking to break the curse cast on her by finding "one of her own kind" to accept her for who she is. We all really shouldn't judge people for the way they look but for what people are INSIDE. That's what most important. 3) Self-discovering I mentioned finding "one of her own kind" to accept her and in the movie, she found it in HERSELF. She accepted her own differences, came to terms with herself and was happy just being herself. I think that's what's most important - why should we be bothered with what others say about my looks, my behaviour, my whatever? As long as i am myself and i don't do anything that goes against my morals, i should be happy with the way i am. The movie was inspiring, speaking to me in little ways in many aspects 4) Music The songs in this movie are tailored for the movie, touching, melodious and inspiring (the ending song's called YOUR DISGUISE). I'm sure whenever i listen to them i will recall this sweet amazing movie. :) 5) The LOVE story The self-sacrifcing Johnny who would rather give up loving Penelope in order to SET HER FREE (from her curse) certainly touched me. 6) Actors/Actresses James McAvoy, as usual, is as charming as it gets. I love all things british and he's a british actor with a british style and british... vibe. haha. Somehow i like the rugged hairstyle he's got throughout the show, not too long not too short. haha. Christina Ricci played her part well -innocent and sweet, she made Penelope very watchable and without a doubt, lovable. Catherine O'hara (you might remember her from Home Alone 1/2) is well, her usual character - the funny irritating but concerned mother. haha. Just great. 7) The Fairytale ending So what if we know they'll get together after all. Don't we ALL love a fairytale ending? I do. I do. I do. Oh i love Penelope. I love it as a name now even haha. Go watch it! Aww... leave me in my dreamy mode for now :) bye.... haha Jloe || 10:20 PM || 0 comments
Finally some updates!!! :) hahaMonday, September 22, 2008 Saturday was back to routine for Kenny G and me and this time, the movie event of the month: MAMMA MIA! hahah.... Must admit i was never an ABBA fan (though slightly more a fan of A*teens haha) but the movie has certainly started a bit of ABBA fever in me haah. Plus, i'm a music addict, so it's fully expected of me to watch the light-hearted musical. haha. only seventeen (i wish) photoshopped by Kenny G does it look real? haha. I think the show's certainly achieves its aim of being a joyous movie event for anyone who watches it. The songs are catchy, the characters are cranky and very chirpy. To put it simply, it was funny and very pleasant! haha. I found myself inevitably singing to many of the songs (there were subtitles! how great is that!?) and one step away from just jumping out from my seat when "Dancing Queen" or "Gimme Gimme Gimme" (my new found favourite oldie) was on rotation. Very high. Very cheerful. *******Seriously Digressing****** I don't even really like Yups. I (we) meant Wall.E But apparently, camwhores can "work" anything. haha. (The 2 random "Wall.E -themed" shots we took at SHAW) ******End of digression***** Movie aside, it was an otherwise VERY CHEESY day for me haha. I ate SO MUCH CHEESE! haha... First, for "lunch", both of us wanted to try the Pizza Cone that local mag 8days recommended. Plus it felt quite affordable for something so different - and the fact that i love pasta - so it was a must try. here it is - mine's pepperoni (yes covered by the cheese =P) yummys :) This happened before the movie. As i was still hungry after the cone, i bought a Cheese Bun (it was seriously big and very filling for me haha) into the cinema to eat while watching Mamma Mia! haha. Then after the movie, we window-shopped as usual (routine) before stopping by Spageddies for dinner. Yups. I love Pasta now more than ever haha. And for the first time in my life after hearing so much about it, i finally tried Lasagne! haha... (Bel would be proud of me :) haha - FYI, Bel's a Crazy Garfield Fan) And with my recommendation (for the first time EVER), Kenny tried the combo manicotti and sth. (i forgot the full name haha). Lasagne! Cheese! ok his pales in comparison (appearance i mean) but i swear it's as nice haha Well, that's for Saturday, the good old ROUTINE. Sunday was back to camp for me to serve the FINAL *fingercrossed* Duty (and yes extra... haha). It was not bad considering i finished the last "lap" with Ter-weeds, had a free dinner (Macs :) hehe my fave) and for a long time, FINALLY finished a book! (Fyi, serious attention deficit with STORYBOOKS particularly) Yes, i'm referring to the "Table for Three: Adventures of Saffy and Amanda". It's so witty and nice i love it. And i can READ! haha. Ok, enjoy yourself while i stay in awe of my "feat".. haha.. See ya Jloe || 8:48 PM || 0 comments
Quite update here:Wednesday, September 17, 2008 Monday blues were very much minimised by staying at home (no work!) and watching 4BIA with Yang Sis. Plus i've finally borrowed Jason Hahn's book - Adventures of Saffy and Amanda, the first i'll probably finish this year haha. And well, that's it. (sighs.... haha) Anyway, this entry's title is what it is because i'm quite looking forward to: 1) my last office duties, camp duties and that last extra haha. (still cant believe i got extras!) 2) of course my completion of service... back to really normal life. and and and.... 3) HAHA!!! My own music award show designed entirely by me and it happens all in my mind (and erm.. blog? haha). Well, i'm just bored so i decided to design the poster for my very own JLOE Music Awards haha. And the chief purpose of this entry is basically for me to show off my design piece haha. Guess true music addicts do all these lame stuff haha... Jloe || 11:20 PM || 0 comments
Ok Since pictures for Fri night just came in, i've edited the previous entry to write more for this entry haha. (The sequencing is all screwed haha).Monday, September 15, 2008 Well, as i've said, Friday night was dinner + deserts with Yuk and Kryssie. First we went to NYDC to have dinner but the whole time it felt really... difficult to talk with all the birds making foul noises. Krys even said they were mating... haha. Then, I became very unfocused with all the noise that the whole night i was super deaf, unable to catch what the two gals were saying haha... a very UN-flattering pic of me (and the ONLY pic of me of the night! - coz we didn't take much photos) Krys SERIOUSLY ACTING SHY only coz... see, SMILE so bright. where got shy! After dinner, we settled for nice deserts at the new CANELE restaurant at Shaw Towers. As usual (eh... wrong usage tho, it's the first time the 3 of us are meeting together haha), everyone ordered one desert and all share :) . Have a craving for deserts nowadays which is so good to know haha. Nowadays at home after meals i;m always looking for something to eat haha - which totally pisses my maid cause i don't finish my meal but can ask for something to eat ten minutes after dinner haha. (ok stop the "maid talk" - later Yuk really thinks i'm "attached" to my maid haha) abit unglam. haha. (took it 15 min after we ungracefully dipped our forks in to eat them) We talked til 11plus before we headed back. The night was filled with laughters (they never fail to make me laugh til i cry), grumbles about AJ days (AJ Ke ma ma, Ole Ole Ah ah! - OMG!!! Urgh... haha) and talk about anything in life. Just what i need after a bland last weekend. haha Thanks gals :) haha... catch up 'gains... Jloe || 10:06 PM || 0 comments
Well well, the past week have been pretty plain for me, nothing going on, nothing haha. That's the reason why there's absolutely no entries for this week until now. haha.Sunday, September 14, 2008 Well, friday night was meetup with Yuk and Kryssie at Orchard. (Read Next Entry) Saturday was much less "happening". I literally spent my whole day sourcing for new music online til afternoon since i knew i had ZERO plans to go out - everyone and anyone i've asked beforehand couldn't make it this week. So besides being in Scandinavian music fever (weird i know haha), i returned to the VCD rental stall once again. Seems like it's the place i also visit whenever i have NOTHING on. Sad but true haha. To entertain myself over this being-with-myself weekend, I rented the much anticipated "Definitely Maybe", "P.S I Love You" (ROM COMS!!!!) and lastly teen chick flick "BRATZ". BRATZ was awfully awful as a teen flick. If Mean Girls was 100 marks, it would be like 10 freaking marks. So lame. "P.S I Love You" fared slightly better, but i think it lacked the excitement factor required in ALL GREAT ROM COMS. And like what the dead husband said in the movie, it felt a bit MORBID. "Definitely Maybe" was definitely the best among the bunch but it obviously wasn't a great movie if not i would be screaming for joy here. haha. But i thought it presented a sort of realism that other rom-coms do not present. Though i would say it's not a good thing as well. We, rom-com addicts, watch rom-coms precisely because of the fact that we WISH for a nail-biting earth-shattering whirlwind romance that obviously doesn't exist in REAL LIFE. Therefore, if it's "like real", it becomes quite typical. It has its some touching moments though - esp. the "Definitely Maybe" part - watch it to find out. haha. Sunday was slightly better (i see where this is going haha... Excitement level in each day increasing at 1% every day.... Oh, HOW SAD CAN MY LIFE BE??? hahah). The long awaited Mid-Autumn Festival with a BANG! Ok maybe not so much a bang... erm.. a FIZZLE? haha. Kenny and i, with the other four gals (Grace, Feng - Chang Er of the night, SJ and new friend Clarise) met for dinner and headed to Yishun Park for our mini MAF celebration. Kenny and I, more the "organisers" of this "party" brought sparklers, candles and lanterns to light up the night. Being my VIRGIN MAF celebration, must say it's pretty interesting after SO MANY YEARS of mugging which has made me forget how wonderful it was being a child - without any worries and without any complicated issues to deal with day in day out. Must make it a point to do so every year from now then huh... haha.. Well some photos finally! haha *sparks* light my fire :) trying to create our mini bonfire which kinda failed.. hah why i said it fail - SO SMALL! :( happier off with lanterns ok i'm seriously noob cause i didn't know how to adjust my camera so some of the pictures came out mostly blur... like this one (had to edit it abit) hah until clarise adjusted it - she knows more abt my camera than me! haha with Chang'Er and... who's the other? haha this pic was just supposed to be the lanterns. dunno y we're in this pic too.. hah we are apparently too hungry man... haha all together now! Well, after the "candle light" session, we went to walk around the park with our lanterns, telling each other ghost stories haha... Well, it was quite an interesting night for me... should do such interesting stuff more often to fill up my pretty bland life haha... Happy Mid Autumn to All! Thnks kenny and gals :) haha Jloe || 11:24 PM || 0 comments
Hello... it's been a pretty bland weekend for me this week since everyone ele is busy (not many pple to meet) and i didn't plan anything for this week too.Sunday, September 7, 2008 Well, saturday morning i left shortly after breakfast to Sim Lim Square to fix my external hard disk which has been spoilt since... July (??). Have been procrastinating for a really long time on this. Turns me off to do anything about it since when i see it, it reminds me of the fact that i've lost alot of my songs. Apparently, if you don't know, i accidentally dropped my extenral hard disk one afternoon and since then, it became cranky. Either it will suddenly hang and hang my stupid laptop as well, or it can't transfer things back to my C/D Drives (selfish bastard of a HDD). Well, fortunately i managed to salvage most of my songs that morning before going down as the "SERVICE CENTRE" so called was actually only a COLLECTION CENTRE. So the assistant there (not IT-trained) could only replace my cranky HDD with a new one. So if i didn't salvage my stuff myself, they would have been GONE FOREVER. Thankfully i managed to find a way. Since i can't copy things back into my other drives, i realised that i could play each individual song on windows media player and "save as" into my C Drive and it worked! for 95% of the songs though ahah. But that's SUPER GOOD already haha. But with the new hard disk, there came ANOTHER problem. HOW TO FORMAT A HDD. If you DON'T ALREADY KNOW, i am a completely computer idiot. Designing my blog the way it is now is ALREADY A FEAT to me. Plus, you should know i am a MAN WITH NO TALENTS haha... other than gossiping maybe hahah (JOKING). So i was totally clueless about how i should go about fomatting it. The other time when i bought it from the sim lim shop, the shop assistant was very nice to format it for me and so i could simply plug it into my computer and JUST USE. No wasting my brain cells on how to configure those stupid computer stuff which i know nuts about. But not this time. So i searched the internet, looking for step-by-step instructions on how to format my HDD. Went to website and the the manual given online was totally incomprehensible with my limited knowledge on computers. So after two plus hours sitting in front of my stupid laptop, i achieved nothing. And i stopped to meet Yang Sis at City hall first haha. ******************************* Sidetracking from this "How to format my HDD", i met Yang Sis over this bland weekend cause she was the only free (and willing) to meet me, and also because her boyfriend can't get out of camp haha. Went city hall since Orchard is still the same, Vivo is too far, Bugis is too crowded haha... Plus i needed to go somewhere in the city to call it "GOING OUT" haha. Nothing much other than the fact that i ATE ALOT. Until my stomach hurt a bit haha. First i ate Korean cuisine (at food court haha), with Ice Kachang after that. Then along the way back to MRT, we stopped at the HongKong cuisine restaurant to have a "long" of Xiao Long Baos haha. Anyway it's good that i'm starting to develop more of an appetite for after meal food. Like deserts and stuff. Hopefully in time i will have a MORE normal figure. Speaking of which, Yang Sis, as usual everytime we met, will tell me a bit of her boyfriend. So this time she was telling me that she and her boyfriend was of the same height, which technically means if they get married, she CAN NEVER wear HEELS cause it will "sia suay" the groom (like obviously... girl taller?? tsk haha). So i think she's told her boyfriend before as a passing remark but didn't think it was anything serious to ponder over. But apparently, when she went over to his house last weekend or so, she went to his room and saw that he was reading a book titled "HOW TO GROW TALLER"!!! O.M.G. I think her boyfriend's pretty funny. Or maybe the actions he do. haha. Well, you know those stupid PSPs that ALMOST EVERY young and not-so-young males (and some females) bring along with them and seem to play them WHEREVER THEY GO? Well, her boyfriend mentioned to her that he felt like buying it. But like me, Yang Sis has deep disdain over those stupid PSPs and obsessive behaviour (of playing it everywhere), and so told her boyfriend that SHE HATES THOSE TYPE OF GUYS THAT PLAY PSPs EVERYWHERE THEY GO. So the boyfriend's attitude totally change, and doesn't have the urge to buy it anymore. To disturb her boyfriend (like she ALWAYS does), she will always suggest to go to those PSP shops and suggest her boyfriend to get it and the boyfriend will go "NO NO DON"T WANT LA! NO I DONT WANT TO BUY!!" haha... The crazy things people do out of love. I can never understand. ************************************** Well, coming back to HDD... After i reached home, i was in the"sian" mood for the stupid HDD but on another hand was like "if only i could try it just another time" (after every try). So i sat down and tried again and again. Then, I found this forum website which provided step-by-step instructions after i googled on "How to format an external hard disk" haha. The instructions were (and i quote):
Well, i was stuck at Step 5 . I just couldn't see the "Create Partition" which is totally sickening. (Which was why i decided to try again only after i went out with Yang Sis) Apparently i was right-clicking in the wrong places. Damn me. It was at one random moment when i right clicked a random place for my HDD under Disk Management and it FINALLY had the OPTION - CREATE NEW PARTITION!!!!!! I was SO HAPPY. I quickly clicked it and well, the rest is history :) SO HAPPY! I was really surprised and holding my breath the whole formatting process cause i can't believe it was really happening (You know i dont want to hold high expectations only to get disappointed haha) After a few minutes, there it is FORMATTED and i could use it!!! The disbelief and ecstacy i felt. haha. (the steps above are really good! - which goes to show i'm worse than an idiot haha...) I am happy because first, it is finally resolved after so long and could back up my stuff again. Secondly, the fact that i managed to format it toally by myself. haha... I know it sounds like i'm really dumb but i REALLY LEARNT A SKILLl! Haha... I was even contemplating whether i should get to some computer shop and pay them to do it for me but on hindsight, that would seriously reflect how dumb i am right??? hahaha.... Yups, i seldom say i am proud of myself. But this time i REALLY AM PROUD OF MYSELF haha. Never in a million years would i think i am capable of doing such stuff by myself. Speaking of which, i just read this article on REFLECT section of the Sunday Times and Sumiko was talking about the EXACT same problem we face, being "At the Mercy Of Machines" where she lamented how useless she feels whenever she encounters such technical difficulties and has no clue how to resolve it. Because i was in such a good mood after reading it, i actually wrote to her. (Remember the last time i wrote to Suzanne? haha.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here's my reply to her article (a bit repetitive): Hi Sumiko, I must admit it's been such a pleasure to read your article today in the Sundays Times about us, or rather you, being at the mercy of machines. To be honest, i am also a tech idiot who knows nothing about computers, electronic appliances and whatever gadgets there is in the market. The only thing i know is to use them for the basic function they serve and never dare attempt to use their other functions. If you say you're ashamed, then i would have to (very embarrassingly) say that i'm more ashamed. For one, i'm a young teenager in his twenties, exposed to the daily dose of technological news and experiences with the electronic gadgets. But then, i'm sure we can't equate exposure to absorbing knowledge on them since i have total disinterest in anything technology and simply incapable of really understanding anything about until it happens to me. Furthermore, i am a male. Not being sexist here (and neither am i remotely sexist), but it appears to me that most males have the tendency to have an inclination towards tech gadgets and most importantly, the skill to tackle technological difficulties (i suppose that's why most of our technicians - including yours - are males). That is why i probably feel even more incapable and ashamed when i proclaim that i am a technological idiot. Just prior to reading your article, i faced a similar mind-boggling and annoying technological nightmare - i call it a "heart attack" - of my own. Having dropped my external hard disk on the floor, i got it exchanged for a new one at the collection centre yesterday. However, as it was clearly only a collection centre, i was provided with a unformatted external hard disk. Clearly with my limited knowledge on computer stuff, i was clueless as to how to configure it. Previously when i bought the hard disk from a store, the shop assistant very kindly formatted it for me, which saved all troubles and worries for me. And i would just have to plug it into my computer and ala, it can be used! But fate was not so kind to me this time round. So I went home and searched the internet for the model, in hopes of finding an idiot-proof manual that could help me resolve this technical difficulty i faced. I did find one, but one INCOMPREHENSIVE (to me) MANUAL it was! So i resorted to googling "How to Format an External Hard Disk" but apparently i guessed i was like looking for a treasure without a map - very lost indeed. Fortunately, just like you, it was resolved just last night itself by some dumb luck when i right-clicked something (forgot what it was) and now my worry is over. After this experience, as well as many other similarly horrifying experiences before that, I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that we've become so reliant on technology nowadays. I've heard people say they can't live without their hand phones or that they'll rather die than have no laptop/computer to use when at home. And scarily enough, i find myself in the same shoes. We have become so dependent on them that without them we feel we are unable to function. I suppose this is the irony of being too technologically advanced. A part of me refuses to give in to the fact that i'm dependent on these technologies to function and live normally (or at least satisfactorily). But i guess it's time that i too, pick up these essential skills. To put it simply, i just can't bear to go through another "heart attack". Simply, Joel ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well, if she replies i'll inform you :) Sunday was, as usual, a day for rest. In the afternoon, my family went to visit my grandma at TTSH as she felt and broke her shoulder... It's so sad seeing her in and out of the hospital but there's nothing i can say or help with other than visiting her. Not sure if i've said this before but i think she doesn't remember who i am right now compared to my other brothers. Her health became more of a problem these past few years which coincided with my sec 4 and jc years (read: SUPER MUGGER days) and therefore i never attended any family functions with my mother's side other than CNY. So now when i visit her, she hardly knows who i am, maybe she thinks i'm some random friend of my brother... Oh well... At least she knows my mother has four sons and i'm NUMBER THREE. That's sufficient already i guess... Just before that i went to collect my notes back from the idiotic tuition house i went for one time. (TRAUMATIC enough tho haha. ) and went to hub to walk a bit to buy a gift for Chai Chai as her birthday was approaching on 11 Sep. So in advance, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Chai Chai! She's probably never read this but well, it's the thought - of mine - that counts right haha. In office, we have decided to get a bag for her and since Jem can't find it after trying os hard, i felt i should do something as well by helping to find. Thank God the hub sells the bag we were looking for so i could contribute haha. Just pray they'll like my choice of the design haha... After all, besides my two bosses, she's the one i consult the most on work and she's been really nice to advise me many a times. So for her niceness, THANK YOU ! haha. Celebration's tomorrow morning so we'll see how it goes. haha. Well, this has been a sufficiently long entry about random stuff so i shall end here! Enjoy the week :) Jloe || 9:08 PM || 0 comments
Well well, August is over and time for another Lookback right nowWednesday, September 3, 2008 What happened in August: 1) NDP Months of "Hard Work" finally paid off, won't say i regret doing it but i probably will not do something similar in a really long time haha. There were good times though, talking with Astra and Jacelyn etc... haha... 2) Dinner with KFG First time we met up after so long and for just a simple dinner at Bugis but it was a very good breather for us i believe. Having fun talking and cam-whoring. Simply good. haha. 3) Musical Revival Music was BACK ON TRACK after a serious vacuum in July which left me totally empty and sad haha. With songs from Kenny and rare songs lost-and-found, things are fine once again. So please stay the same haha. Music is my life. 4) Meetups This month was pretty dry, mainly with Kenny (Good music!), Gracie(Good movie!) , Yang Sis, Tony Birthday party and lunch with Boss, JJ and Sammy. 5) Photos Galore Finally i did what i've longed to do for a long time - to print out my photos. With Part 1 Phase complete, i have another set to print and hopefully i can get more photos from the past before i start with Project Photo Album haha. (Oh, photo-laughing session with Kenny G was outrageously fabulous. Thanks! Keep my "ugly" secret! haha) 6) Prison Break Addiction Thanks to Ronald, i managed to revive my passion for Prison Break ever since i lost touch with it since JC days and must say it's FANTASTIC. Finished watching ALL three seasons in this short month cause i simply can't resist the exciting plot!haha 7) Pizza Fiesta Cum Olympics Ending Olympics ended on on a reallygood note, and not because i know my fave LONDON will be hosting the next Olympics but because i had such a simply good time with Kenny G and Gracie (and her mum haha) laughing and eating good food! haha... Thanks Gracie once again :) 8) ONE-TIME Tuition Disaster One word. Sickening. Period. 9) Wall.e + Old School Visit Another meetup with the gals for movie and a rare visit to Old School. With August ending on a Rush, September seems pretty much the same haha. Things to look forward include: 1) Regular Contact with Friends Maybe restart the monthly gathering season? haha... :) Oh, that's it. haha... Simple is ok. As long as it's simply good. See ya... Well, last saturday was meetup with Gracie, Kenny and Xiu Jun for movie Wall.E!Monday, September 1, 2008 I must say the movie is alright. pretty interesting but not my kind of movie. I still prefer ROM-COMs! haha... But i like the fact that it challenged the idea of "lazy humans" in the future. Hmmm... something we should all think about as we progress towards a much more technologically advanced world. Well, there was even a cameo appearance (not in the movie) by Fengie for a short while before the show! haha.. Busy girl in uni came down to show support! haha - the best she can do with her busy schedule i guess haha... After the movie, the four of us camwhored on our way out of the cinema exit. haha... photos photos: the four of us ok that's REALLY lame haha. Then we made our way to Old School just behind Plaza Singapura since arty farty Gracie and Kenny wanted to check it out. Didn't really explore much as there was a function there and it was getting dark... haha. opps. that's not the main feature anw. haha camwhoring... tired... winning shot ha! There you go, just a simple day to realise our cam-whoring desires. ha.. it was great finally doing sth almost routine since a long time haha. Well, that's all for now. more updates to come i guess... P.S: Sickening feeling still there... urgh! Jloe || 10:17 PM || 0 comments
