Not Now But Soon

Yes yes, October has come to an end. It's been a pretty slow month for me, especially since not many weekend happenings for me and i'm starting to not be in office.. haha.

Well, lookback to October:

1) TV Marathon-ing
I HEART "THE HILLS"! And love "Gossip Girl" too! haha.

2) Movie Mania / Meetups
The only movie for this month is "House Bunny"! haha. Had a fun time with Kenny and Paul. Glad we managed to meet for another time before Oct closes. hah

3) Catch-ups
With Kenny, Yang Sis, Terweeds etc... Catchups are important! (as learnt from The Hills haha)

4) Unit Cohesion and KBOX!
KBOX Returns! haha. I hope to go back soon! haha.

5) Ms Tan's Farewell
It was nice to shop for a gift for her but we're all sad that she's leaving the office. I will miss her!
All the best and take care! haha.

6) Exercise Returns
Well, i need a healthier body. Not Skinny Boy anymore! haha.

Alrightey, holiday mood is slowly sinking in and November spells YET ANOTHER NEW PHASE in life so it's quite exciting! Looking Forward:

1) ORD!
Need I say more? haha

2) Catch-ups
Maybe with Ah Meng and Jem, Yuk and Krys, Yuk and Clara, Yang Sis, Fiona etc etc...

3) New Job
What will it be??? *fingerscrossed*

Well, transition is always mean anxiety to me. So praying hard for a better and smooth transition! haha.

Head First Fearless

What a slow week it's been for me, especially since i only returned to work yesterday. And you know me, i have no particular hobbies other than music so i usually just laze around, and watch tv which makes time pass very very slowly haha.

Anyway, since i have this free time, i thought i could use it to my advantage to well, make myself healthier - by exercising. Have wanted to do so time and time again but never got down to do it. But this time i did so, and i went for a swim on Tuesday and Wednesday. But i guess all the work done is wasted cause i've been eating fast food as well haha.

On Wednesday, i decided to leave house around noon cause i realised staying at home is worse. All of my brothers somehow are at home, and they're watching tv (which means i can't) or making alot of noises while using their computers. They intruded into the privacy i desire when i'm on leave and since i can't drive them out, i might as well get out of the house.
So i went to Orchard but along the way i realised that we NSF boys haven't bought anything for Ms Tan who'll be leaving us come next week. AND the farewell's the next day! So it was down to me to buy the present - and boy it's really hard to get a gift for above middle-age women! haha.

Fortunately, halfway through, Ter-weeds called and wanted to join me while i accompanied him to buy present for his beloved haha. It was a nice day with Terweeds, as it's the first time i met him outside hah and we chatted as we always do.

Photobucket
on the way back

And after like 4 frantic hours of searching for the right gift, i settled on a grey shawl with white floral prints, made from japan and 100% wool. Over the phone when i told the rest about the gift, they were very hesistant about it which worried me quite a bit because the last thing i want to do is to buy something not nice for Ms Tan (who has been nice to me all this while) and also make the rest pay for something they don;t even like. haha. But forunately, when they saw it yesterday, they were satisfied with what i bought. WHEW! haha...

Today was another alone day for me, as i went out to window-shop for gifts for my farewell. Guess i need to show my appreciation to all who has helped me and treated me very nice all this time. Haven bought anything so the stress is up again! haha.

And just like that... Oct ends..... haha

For My Culture

My current culture at home has taken a slight change, brought about especially by the three-week absence of my maid. She's gone back to her hometown in Indonesia (routine visit i guess) and everything's at home either done by ourselves or simply not done. haha.

With regards to most of the stuff at home, i can rely on my mum and maybe abit on my brothers since they're kinda free in the day when i'm working (not telling you why). Being a very lazy person, my room is ever in a state of mess. Table's messy, cupboard's messy and the wardrobe especially... haha. I just kinda throw everything new into the wardrobe.

But other than household chores, the other change is FOOD. Dinner especially. Though i complain to my maid everyday about how sucky the food she cook is, fact is maybe it's not that bad after all. It's just that eating the same style of food, the same stuff on a very routine basis (shows i don't go out often during weekdays :( haha) makes eating at home everyday a bore. Seriously. haha. But with my maid gone, no ones there to cook for me so i have to decide what i want to eat everyday. And boy, that is hard.

For your information, mostly i'm not very picky with stuff. Like where to go, what to do, what to buy etc, i'm quite the admittedly-annoying type that goes "Anything". (I know how we all hate people that says "Anything" because we ask questions for a reason and "Anything" just won't suffice as a valid suggestion. haha.. But well, i'm working on that hah.) But if there's anything i'm picky on, it would be food.

Basically cause of the fact that i don't eat alot. And my appetite generally isn't as fantastic as say "Moses Lim" most of the time. Even my "Good appetite" don't come close to his i'm sure. haha. Therefore, i HAVE TO like whatever i'm eating. But i think the past two weeks have been quite a torture. Especially when i have to buy two meals in a day (3 meals is worse) myself.

At first it was quite nice you know. Finally i get to chose what i want to eat and i'll definitely make sure i'm eating what i like. But then up to day four (?), the problem comes in. I realised like i've eaten almost everything my neighbourhood has to offer and i hate to eat back the same routine stuff cause then i'll not be enjoying what i eat (which means i have no mood to eat and eat very little as a result). Laska, prawn mee, chicken chop, fried kway teow, chicken rice, hor fan, carrot cake, fried rice, mince meat noodle, fishball noodle, wanton mee, even fast food, name it and i've tried EVERYTHING (of course excluding what i don't like which is not so many - come on, most of the stuff i just named i seldom even eat them alright...) So it's just kinda torturous now having to think of what i want to eat when mealtime's up. haha. Everytime i spend like half an hour walking the SAME ROUND throughout ang mo kio central and yet i have no clue what i want to eat. And i'm sure you know how not-good the feeling is when choosing something to eat because there's nothing else better to eat (and not because you really want to eat the stuff).

So ya, there you go, food dilemma for me every single day. And now that i'm on leave the next few days, i'm sure it'll be quite interesting have to brood over breakfast, lunch AND dinner. Lucky i turn in early so supper's not a consideration hahaha.

Well, besides buying my own food, the new culture in my life is marathoning though tv series. I'm sure by now you guys know i'm deeply engrossed into series like The Hills and recently, Gossip Girl, cause it's something i'll definitely keep talking about if i see my friends haha. I think the whole thing started with Prison Break. I borrowed the series from Xiao Ron, and it went on for weeks until i finished season three completely. Then i turned to my old favourite, American's Next Top Model. Then the TV marathon-ing died down for a while cause there were nothing else i really wanted to see. But then recently i got hooked onto The Hills and before i knew it, i was watching the ENTIRE season three of The Hills online. There were like 28 episodes in that season and i must be the few crazy ones to watch it fully in ONE WHOLE DAY. It's mad i tell you but somehow the addiction got the better of me and i was just uncontrollable - watching episode after episode, stopping just for toilet and water breaks and going down to get lunch /dinner.

But The Hills was not enough i guess haha. Shortly i was recommended to watch Gossip Girl by Kenny and yups for the fourth time, i was glued to the tv series. I watch the entire season one in two separate days. There are like 18 episodes, so 9 episodes in one day which is practically most of the day haha. I'm just mad haha. I even had time to squeeze in some episodes of The Hills.
Right now i'm just totally in love with "The Hills". since i only started with later episodes of season two, i decided to fill in the missing details by watching straight from season 1 episode 1. And yes, i managed to do that in record two days (yest and today).

So ya, you can say 1) i'm mad and 2) my eyes are very sore from all the online tv-watching haha. To be honest, i like to tv-marathon cause the whole waiting for the next episode to come out is just so excruciating and irritating (especially when you miss the episode on tv). And to marathon gives it the continuity that makes the show so much better. The feeling's always slightly dimished whenever we had to wait one week to catch the next episode isn't it? haha. So right now, i'm gonna swear i'll take a break from all the series since i've completed all episodes from "The Hills" and season one of "Gossip Girl" (watching for it to be like3/4 done before i catch up on season 2 haha). My eyes deserve a break too haha.

Well, as i said, i'm gonna take a break from work as well. I'm not working this entire week except for friday so it's quite a different culture as well. Not working so hard and escaping all the politics that comes with it you know. It'll be great doing my own stuff (whatever it is) for the next few days. I haven't really planned it but i might go do some much-needed exercise - the fast food's getting to my health... haha. Maybe pack up my super messy room and i guess take some time to think about what i wanna do in the next phase of my life after service. It's serious time that i give some serious thought about it, though i technically know what i want (it's just a matter of getting it - won't mention it until it's a done deal =X hah). Can only keep my fingers crossed and pray that things work out. No expectations.... haha.

Anyways, this has sufficiently long for a random entry so well, i'll see ya with more updates hopefully. enjoy...

Fill My Little World

Speaking of CHANGE, yesterday was routine with a slight twist.

Well, Kenny and I met up for lunch first: at Mogul Mogul (??), a Jap fast food at Far East
(P.S: The food is not nice at all..... haha) And it was the usual office and life talk... haha.

PhotobucketPhotobucket
Kenny and Me

After lunch we did some window shopping all the way to Taka where we met up with Paul. Pretty strange that in the first weekend of Oct we met Paul and now we're meeting up with him again. And Paul and I were wearing the new tshirts that we both bought at Bugis the other time haha.

We immediately engaged into entertainment talk all the way til HMV where both Kenny and I realised Paul is AN EXTREMIST MARIAH CAREY fan! haha. He buys different versions of the same album JUST FOR THE RARE SONGS. Seriously! haha. But Kenny and I did him a small favour by dissuading him to buy the "Mariah Carey: The Ballads" that is new on the shelves haha.

After the engrossed talk all afternoon, we settled for dinner at BREEKS! at Taka.

PhotobucketPhotobucket
My Cajun Grilled chicken Chop and Kenny's Chicken Patties

Paul with his mushroom cream Spagetties

I've never tried BREEKS ever before but it was pretty decent. Though i found my Chicken Chop much much smaller than what was pictured in the menu haha. We even took some time to cam-whore before deserts arrived:

Photobucket
not nice lol. i look grumpy haha

Photobucket
much better, with my "jloe" smile haha.

Then deserts came :) I'm having a cravings for deserts nowadays :) haha

My fondue set was so worth the money cause it comes with the fruits, brownie, and marshmellow! haha. it was very sinful but wonderful enjoyment haha.

Photobucket
one final pic before dinner ends

After dinner, Paul left earlier cause he had duty tml (sad... haha) while Kenny and I continued on with routine (in reverse haha - if that's a change haha) ever searching for inspiration at Zara and Espirit haha. I'm feeling the office look now that i'll be starting real work outside! haha.

Well, it was quite a great day with perfect timing and great chat of course haha.
And that's a good change haha.

And Holiday mood's Kicking in!!!!!! See ya! haha

Heart In a Headlock

Finally some real real updates!

*BIG SIGH OF RELIEF*

Friday was a break for my unit as we all went to East Coast Park for cohesion activity. I guess it was a timely break for everyone who has been working hard for the past few months (me included haha). Well, some photos finally...

Before the start of the activity

Photobucket
not-so-macho guys haha

Photobucket
candy, me and oh-my-TIAN

Photobucket
super MACHO :)

However, the weather wasn't really on our side and it was raining lightly so the sandcastle building and other games had to be cancelled (for good or bad haha coz we were released earlier haha). But while the rest were playing some "GAH-BAH-DEE" game, Piggy and i (and others) had our mini photo-taking session :)

Photobucket
Piggy and Me :)

(i look better with Piggy =X hahah)

(haha joking!)

After the cohesion, Marc, Oh-My-Tian, Maxim (yups, he's back haha), Jem and I went to Suntec City for Lunch, as we planned to go KBOX (!!!) later. haha. We then shopped around Suntec trying to look for Ms Tan's farewell present but took a chance to cam-whore when we saw some halloween stuff on display at Carrefour. hah.

***Brace yourself once more***

Photobucket
haha. don't i look funny in it :)

PhotobucketPhotobucket
they say i look better in the wig! haha

Photobucket
the (not so pure) angel :)

Personally, i've never had the chance to celebrate Halloween but i guess it'll be quite fun.
After the interesting walk around, we settled for KBOX! Haven been there for ages and i sure missed it haha. But this time around, it was quite torture as Oh-My-Tian kept giving me headaches with his SUPER HIGH PITCH MIKA-ISH voice haha. I could sing like that when i was younger but not anymore haha... Vict joined us halfway and he couldn't take it as well haha.

Well, after KBox, it was down to Oh-My-Tian, Marc and i for dinner at Cedele. It was quite a fun dinner cause we were funny about ***** most of the time while thinking of what our office can do for the next branch outing haha... I was in tears once again after laughing so hard haha.

Anyways, that was friday. Quite nice to do something different after so long haha.

Change! haha.

Make Some Noise

Well guys, things have been much much ordinary these few weeks. In fact, too ordinary until i'm really like bored. But of course, i have my usual fanfare of "The Hills" and recently-addicted-to "Gossip Girl" to occupy my otherwise bland life. But if this is the onset of finishing of service, then i'm gonna have to find some real busy stuff for myself to do in the interim upon finishing service and finding a temp job before university.

Speaking of which, with the end of service approaching, i'm have "The Hills" moment of having to actually treat life more maturely and more as an adult. I mean national service was really crucial in helping me to grow and mature but it's still a sheltered environment where i don't make much of the my own choice. But in the outside world, i have to be proactive and make things work for myself cause no one will do so for me. And well, believe it or not, i'm pretty lazy and this awakening is just in time before i get myself a job after service.

Well, there are some things i'm contemplating on doing so i needed to do my own resume for the first time ha. All along a resume was something important and it was quite heavily emphasised by some of my "elite" "friends" (more like accquaintances now...) back in college but i was too lazy to do it. But guess this is the right time to polish the "real world" skills of writing my own resume. Spent the whole sunday referring to resumes and creating a template for myself and the finished product was quite satisfying. Not telling you what it's for but i'm praying hard the resume can work it for me. ha

Hmm.. things are well getting a bit better in office, with new lady - Piggy - on board with BBQ and I. It's fun to just bicker with her and throw sarcastic comments at her haha - makes life at work so much more relaxing and enjoyable. Other than that, it's been getting a bit weird cause i'm getting abit tired of people's excuses at work but i don't want to burn any bridges with anyone so i just hope time will pass quickly.

Life's getting a bit too bland so i really want to do something different for a change...
change pls.. haha.

The Hills Moment

Well, it's great that Kenny came over tonight for some catchup and we sorta talked deep about friendship and stuff which connected to "The Hills". There's alot of stuff from it which i've learned which i guess i will share with you guys my thoughts.

Photobucket

If you know about the show (or if you don't), the show is about four girls connected to each other somehow (good friends, used-to-be-good friends, friends of friends) and they go through many different situations with each other. Basically, the show shows mainly how friendship is about and such.

Friendships as we know are very fragile. One mistake could mean a big crack in the relationship and i believe from our own past experiences we know how cracks never fully heal. Which just goes to show how difficult and how much effort that goes into maintaining a friendship. I just think that both parties have to be equally committed into the friendship and trying their best to make it work.

Obviously, honesty is very important. You want to maintain a sense of clarity with your friends because after all your good friends are a major part of your life and things that happen in your life you have to update them just as much as they fill you up on the new details in life. If about catching up and also being truthful to your friends.

Catching up i feel is really the most important part in a friendship. When both parties take the effort to inform the other about what happens in their life, it shows that you are glad that you have this friends because you want to include your friend in your life. In "The Hills", friends after each night out or dinner dates (individual), they will update their friends on what happen just as much as their friends are concerned and curious to know what happened. It's a mututal thing where i want to share and you want to not just hear, but you really want to find out as well.

Being truthful is definitely important as well. Well, it might not be good or your friend might not like it, but hell to that, you tell your friend. Maintaining that level of transparency shows that although you believe your friend might not agree with it, but informing them shows them your point of view and shows you're making an attempt to let them understand what you do things a certain way or why certain things happen. In "The Hills", the roommate of Lauren (main) goes out with her "used-to-be-good friend", Heidi. Although she's not sure if it's a good thing that Lauren might necessarily agree with, she herself felt it was no wrong to do that, since she was just enjoying the company of another talk-able friend, she went out with Heidi. But she told Lauren about it the next day which Lauren was cool about and understood her choice.

But obviously, with the ways things move in life, changes are inevitable. Friendships are dynamic and also prone to changes. It takes initiative on both sides to try to maintain the relevancy and currency of the relationship. I generally don't complain too much about always having to organise meetups because in a way i'm playing my part and friends play their part by showing up. Don't want to go into details as to why do i always have to be the one etc etc because the essence of the whole thing is about making the friendship work and if it works i'm happy. As "Mean Girls" put it, "i'm not in the position to pass it up". haha

Even with your own partners and own social circle, you need to find a balance between all that. From Hills, i could totally see that Heidi, after being attached, lost contact with all her friends. She didn't make an effort to want to meet her friends and neither did she call to catch up on stuff etc which makes her a forgetful (in a bad way) and unconcerned friend. We all love our friends and our own partners. It's still LOVE (though in different way). So why should one be compromised over another when giving up either one for the other seems like an ilogical choice. Therefore, though not easy, it's important to finetune and strike a balance. With regards to this, i'm a love-less, inexperienced hopeless hopeful so i can't shed any more light on this. haha.

Furthermore, being a friend i guess is more than just actions (calling to catch up). It's also about your own thinking and maturity. It's just important to be clear-headed when dealing with friendships cause for the simple reason that friends have friends that might be your friends too. "Do unto people what you want people to do unto you"- We've all heard this before. So just as how you treat your friends, it'll affect how your (or his/her) other friends (that know you) think of you and treat you too.

In the show, Lauren (main) doesn't like Spencer (Heidi's boyfriend). But Spencer was the seriously petty one as he threw out any friend who hanged out with Lauren, calling them betrayers, rolling with the enemy. He fell out with his good friend for many years for that reason even though his friend thought it was stupid for him not to hang out with Lauren when he did not have a problem with her and they were not talking bad about him when they're together. But Spencer was totally being immature, using words like "loyalty" freely without thought which made his good friend very disappointed. Lauren on the other hand show the maturity that i believe ALL friends should have or should develop. Though she doesn't like Spencer, she did not do anything to badmouth him etc. Spencer, conversely, spreaded nasty sex-tape rumours about Lauren which is blatantly denies. Still Lauren did not initiate any bad talking towards him. She did not super impose her ideas of Spencer on her friends and was open to continuing being friends with Spencer's friend. Because of that, Lauren became good friends with Brody, the good friend Spencer fell out with. Furthermore, Spencer's sister, who disliked Lauren in the beginning, because of the simple fact that she disliked Spencer, changed her mind about Lauren because she was mature about the whole situation and was willing to forgive Spencer's Sister for any bad thing she said to her before they got to really know each other.

This level of maturity is definitely required. There are friends which my good friends don't necessarily like. But it's not in my principle to turn totally against them because of that. I believe in a level of civility (or given nice-ness) to anyone to has never offended me, even if i like or dislike the person. And i'm glad that my friends are fine with me continuing to remain friendly ties with their "enemies" because they respect my decision and they believe that i am discerning enough to trust the right people.

Plus it's totally immature to impose your opinions on others and expect them to behave the same way as you do. For instance, I understand my friend's concerns about the "enemy" and i will remain cautious of the person because of these are from my good friend but i will maintain civil until i am proven otherwise. If not, i'm being unreasonably unfair to the "enemy". It's like Friend A and Friend C might have unresolved differences. But if Friend B (good friend of friend A) has no problems with Friend C, why should the difference between A and C come between B and C? In fact, B might even be of help to resolve the differences between A and C. As long as it doesn't intrude the borders of "trusted friendship", then this compartmentalized friendship system ("A & B" and "B & C" being mututally exclusive) can totally work.

As you can see, friendship is alot of work and i guess as i move forward in life, there are more things i will learn about making and maintaining friendships. To friendships and all the joy that comes with it. And to you who reads it (hope you find it useful).

Waking Life

Hi All... Well, it's pretty much the first time in a long time that i've actually not blogged for more than a week. Instead of being very busy and everything, it's pretty much the opposite now. Although i'm technically not free or super slack either - i still have my responsibilities ok haha.

Plus, i guess i don't really have much things going on in my life so things are pretty fluff fluff so well... that's the way it goes now. There's also not much meetups this month as most are involved in exam prep in uni and i'm supposedly the only free one haha. Well, guess we'll meet when they're all free. Looking forward to that.

Anyway, some minor updates for the past week. Friday was half day for me and before i left for work, i decided it would be good to have a birthday treat for Ter-weeds. I invited Giddy along too to share in the joy (though i technically did say to him that he could share in the "money" as well haha...). So it really was a good lunch, it's been a while since i've laughed so hard and talk about random stuff with anyone else other than Kenny (due to the fact that i didn't have the chance to see others this past few weeks). It was just a good nice chat and i have to say i really enjoyed the lunch. After all, it was for Ter-weeds and hope he liked it too.

(and since Ter is here....)
HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY!!! ALL the BEST in LOVE and LIFE ok! :)

Saturday was just a blah day with nothing going on. I only remember myself sleeping and sleeping and sleeping. S.I.A.N.Z. Period. Well, towards the end of saturday, when i was watching television, i sorta caught on "The Hills" Season 2 Marathon showing on MTV and yups. I WAS HOOKED.

Sunday was pure "The Hills" Addiction! I love love love love love love "The Hills". And the fact that i don't think ANYONE around me know this show or would even remotely think about watching the show just makes me more excited - cause i get to share in the joy of the show MYSELF TOTALLY (but ya i know... that's just stupid right? haha).

It's just an amazing show about friendship, love and life and i think i learned so much from the show that i will share more properly in the next entry.

Anyways, crazy maid at home has left back to her hometown for three weeks, which means i have a lot of time to myself (with Grannie gone to elsewhere as well) since my brothers don't come home early. So i'm quite living "The Hills" life with my "own apartment" to myself. haha.
Plus dinner and most stuff is DIY. Independent time....... but i'm still kinda lazy. haha.

We'll see........ more updates soon i hope...

Anyday, Take Me To The South Side

Hello guys, Sunday again and it's the first week of October!

Well, in anyway, it was a good first weekend of Oct as i went to watch the HOUSE BUNNY! :) haha. Oh what a bimbotic show with full of very laughout-loud moments like "the freaking bird" haha. Hilarious in a very pink way. To watch it, i meet up with Jian Hao / Paul, and also managed to introduce him my own friend (for a first time i'm doing such things haha), well, you know, Kenny. haha.

Photobucket
Paul Premiere on Musicsimply (haha)

Photobucket
Kenny said i'm saying HI to the boobs haha!

We are ALL music and movie lovers so i think it's just a great time talking about celebrities and singers, songs and films and anything entertainment related. Plus after the movie, we went shopping and had quite a good harvest (Paul and i both bought two shirts!). Must be the first time charm haha. May this charm stay if we meet again so i can have more nice t-shirts haha.

After a nice shopping time, (and after Paul left), Kenny and i were quite tired and hungry and settled for dinner at NYDC. I've quite the fate with NYDC, having been there for a number of times this year for my gatherings haha. This time i lived up to the Spice Spirit and ordered "Posh Spice" while Kenny tried my recommended "Three Amigos".

PhotobucketPhotobucket
more poses with food :)

As usual we talked about anything under the sky, even revealing unknown facts about each other, simply bimbotic and nonsensical but so interesting haha. (yups, a number of laughter tears were shed due to spontaneous nervous reaction within me haha)

PhotobucketPhotobucket
two dreamers. haha

After the dinner, we returned to do some windowshopping before stopping at the movie ticket office corner to take some more pictures with the movie promos. And this time, it was High School Musical 3! haha.

Photobucket
one shot one kill

It was a super hilarious "photo-shoot" as this pic of me when taken in ONE SHOT in about say, a few seconds? But when it came down to Kenny, which obviously i had to be the photographer, my shaky hands didn't do him justice. It was blur shot after blur shot after ugly shot - in total FOURTEEN AGONISING (and to be STRESSFUL) SHOOTS that we wrapped up the day with this near-perfect (still not perfect :( unlike mine haha...! ) shot of Kenny with the High School Graduates:

Photobucket
finally!

I swear i was gonna die of guilt and of course laughter if i didn't manage to successfully take a good shot of him haha. Fortunately there weren't many people around cause we, (ok ok, to be fair) I, took around half an hour of giggling before i could get this shot. Super random moment but it was all fun haha.

Well, October marks the final full month in service left to complete so may everyday of it be as fun as yesterday haha. Auf Wiedersehen for now :)

My Baby, Baby, Baby

Hello everyone... Today feels so much like a sunday to me that i'm getting blues thinking about work tomorrow haha. Well, but it's great to have a public holiday once in a while so i can wake up late and not think about facing work haha.

Anyways, maybe i'm getting the Sunday feeling because it was spent just like sunday. I wake up, i use the internet (the speed's faster in the morning i suppose haha), i eat breakfast, i go back to bed and immerse myself in music ecstasy before awakening for lunch and well, back to TV/Laptop for self-entertainment. Well, there you go, the perfect formula for the boring boy formula haha.

But before the day ended, it was meetup with Kenny (No more 'G's as promised haha) and Fengie, or should i say, JULIA Ong, at their dear old Yishun for dinner. Yups, i'm always outnumbered by the Yishun-ians haha.

Photobucket

Over dinner, which was so-called Famous Yishun Laksa, the both of them lamented over studies and life and i was their listening ear. haha. Listening ear only because neither could i think of any thing to say (anything i said that was comforting might just come across as "humble" PRIDE haha) and neither would they allow me to say anything! haha. Well, i can only say, life is hard but with a little faith, i'm sure we can all make it through the rain.

After dinner, we moved on to do some survey for dear Julia for her uni work before setting for deserts. Lately, there is some lame "commotion" by lame pple (haha) on my facebook about me and my poses with food. But Seriously..

Joel "Jloe" Sim, "Julia" Ong, "Kenny "Lornie" G
(anw, Julia's not making a wish or sth muahaha)

Anyway, i'm calling Fengie JULIA from now on. haha. We were discussing about names and christian names and well, Julia doesn't have one. After making tries - including BRITNEY ONG (super funny), KENEE ONG (a combo of Kenny and Renee Z - haha), Aileen Ong - we settled on Julia. "Ong" is seriously such a different surname to match a christian name with don't you think? haha.

Well, things have been pretty bland of late so i do hope things pick up soon!
Thats it for now...
