Well, today i'm looking back on March... I guess i'll make this monthy lookback thing a routine to remind myself of the road ahead as well as what path i've taken for the past month. A way of keeping my feet firmly on the ground and making sure i don't stray the wrong way.Tuesday, April 1, 2008 Well for March: 1) Taiwan Trip! - I'm so glad we actually made it to Taiwan... The tour was tiring but what i got for shopping sorta made up for it! I know i haven shown you people a lot of the photos but trust me it's coming! haha.. 2) ORD Dinner with Loba and Tony - The very-much-missed has very definitely left the office and i must say the office feels emptier and quieter without them two. Too bad i was quite tired on the day of the dinner but still i wish them all the best! 3) Maintaining Regular contact with Yang Sis and Kenny G - Yang Sis has started her teaching attachment but at least we made an effort to meet once. haha. Kenny G i think we didn't meet alot this month due to my trip and even if we did meet it's for ermm... "JOIN THE ECO HOUSE" eco grosso. But more next month! haha... 4) Volunteering: Eco grosso is turning out to be well, i suppose you know. I don't mind doing what i'm tasked to do but to talk about serious stuff i have no interest in is simply a waste of my time. And i sure don't wanna participate in things i don't like. Well, now that i heard from Viola/Fiofio that she's volunteering somewhere nice, i might consider joining her. 5) Watched Transamerica, Crash, August Rush and The Orphanage. - Three very interesting films. 6) Friends i met up with a) Regulars: Yang Sis, Kenny G (plus co.) b) Ah Meng c) Gabby - didn't: Shihern and co., Lumpy, Jeremy 7) Office Changes: Chee Meng and Ron-ally are fun (but not exactly fine substitutes as Marcie says hahaah) additions to our branch! Jk. On a personal basis, i'm quite glad i have Ter-weeds, Giddy, Aedi, Wilson etc to make my days at work much better. :) 8) Relaunch of J*Love Music! - For the only love in my life. Now, For the things to look forward in the weeks to come: 1) Maintaining J*Love Music 2) Watching the play "LIFT" (Ron wrote it!) with Joshie, Marcie and the well, the less "functional" version of Charlie's Angels aka Wendie, Miss Chipmunk and Miss Yv 3) Maintaining Regular contact with YangSis, Kenny G, Ah Meng, Viola/Fio, Ter-weeds: This is going to be a mainstay here on my list cause it's something i find important to consistently maintain. Yup, that's friendship i'm talking about. 4) Early ORD Dinner for Aedi! - Looking forward to Wilson's wacky comments... haha.. 5) Clara's Bdae Celebration - I was pleasantly surprised when i was CORDIALLY INVITED to thy princess' bdae celebration. And since Lumpy said she's gonna be there (if you read this: BETTER GO! haha), it's a chance for the three of us to get together again. (What happened to ONCE A MONTH? haha - guess i'm the ONLY free one right...) 6) Studying for My Advanced Theory.. OMG... One basic down, another ADVANCED to go. When will this end??? 7) Volunteer arrangement with Viola/Fio: please make it work! haha. 8) Back to mentoring Viola/Fio: Your lousy mentor is back in business and my hair (and weight) is gonna drop again solving all those insane questions for you!! haha 9) Very Possibly meeting up with Diong, Warren, Cheenaman, Ne-O and others in the OOC gang - Talks are in the way and all fingers are crossed for the outing to REALISE. haha. GO KBOX!!! or CHEENA-TOWN!!! hahahaha 10) Possibly meeting up with friends: a) Ah Meng / Jeremy - Where's my laughable Bear! I wanna see you! b) Lumpy / Kryssie - Where's my mama?! I wanna see you! c) Ter-weeds plus plus d) Gabby e) Evon f) Yo Yo Yeo! - haven seen you since you ORDed leh! 11) "Branch" Outing with Miss Tan, Ms Chipmunk and Wendie and the boys (Joshie etc) for a Rendevzous FOOD outing. haha music.city.soul || 9:16 PM || 0 comments |
