16-18th August - Minji's visit to Singapore :))Friday, August 19, 2011    16th August: Foot Reflexology (too painful when my brother did it for her!) Walked area AMK town area Visited my house! :) and saw my cats haha Dinner at Melben Restaurant Sent Minji back to hostel     17th August: we visited Esplanade Flyer Helix Bridge Marina Bay Sands (she went into the casino!) Walked to Central Business District Lunch at Lau Pa Sat! (tried black&white carrot cake, hokkien mee, ice jelly, popiah, chicken rice) Walked to Merlion (mother and baby one! haha) Walked by Fullerton Hotel (ice cream with bread in hand!) Visited Asian Civilisation Museum (with Ruth! so many funny pictures!) Saw TJS presidential candidate! Train to bugis - dinner was Bah Chor Mee! Walked through Bugis Street Visited National Library Walked to Clarke Quay & Chinatown Supper deserts: Ah Balling Peanut Soup! 18th August: Watched Gavin present on IPSF! Train to Clarke Quay with Minji Saw Parliament House/Supreme Court Walked through Fort Canning Park Bought nice snacks along the way - Tutu Kueh! Tapioca! Curry Puff! Walked to Suntec City Fountain of Wealth! Had Singaporea Sling at Raffles Hotel! :) - Minji saying goodbye to the rest on the phone :( Walked to Esplanade to see night view! Goodbye to Minji! The trip of my life! Absolutely the best experience everrr :)Saturday, August 13, 2011 2nd August to 13th August Highlights :DDD Day 1: Reach Hatyai Registration at J.B Hotel Settling down at Grand Plaza Hotel Macs Lunch (double fillet!) Long walk towards Standing Buddha (which was FAIL! at least we saw PSU?) Tuktuk to Kimyong Market (another FAIL cos it's closed) Street food dinner :) Learning how to play "Bridge"!    Day 2: Morning Breakfast + Short walk around town Check into JB Hotel Visit to Tesco for shopping + lunch at Fuji restaurant :) Tuktuk to the Municipal Park Opening Ceremony of IPSF Drinking at night with roommates n gang    Day 3: First day of workshops! Games night at Jubila Playground (kinda boring...) Back to the hotel for alcohol and drinks with roommate/gang haha    Day 4: Second day of workshops Visit to the GA (boring max) Floating Market (good food!) Pool Party!!! :D Late night food!    Day 5: Educational Symposium Dinner/Auction Night at Danika Seasports Restaurant Short visit to thai pub 711, bridge night with Singaporeans    Day 6: Science Symposium Poster Exhibition ASEAN market, Greenway Market (stupid chair! haha) - nothing for me to buy! :( Murderer/Polar Bear with the Taiwanese! :)    Day 7: Morning GA (talking to Hirona! HAHA) Ice dome + Municipal Park/Buddha (yes, again) with Taiwanese! International Night! (AWESOME! SWEDEN haha! and i heard "HABA HABA"!) Cup noodles with Prav's room    Day 8: Tobacco workshop Anti-tobacco street march! (HOW COOL!) Card games with steven(!!!) and singaporeans Amazing Thai Dance at PSU :)    Day 9: WHSS workshop (i presented! omg haha) AIDS workshop Bus Ride to rafting zzz EPIC RAFTING EXPERIENCE!!! Supper at Lee Gardens area Chat with Singaporeans Games with Thai (nini and Or*) + Taiwanese! (goodbyes to them :()    Day 10: (with the Japs!!!) Shopping at K&K supermarket Went to Big C Extra Lunch at Fuji Restaurant! (THE BEST LUNCH EVERR) Shopping at Big C Packing up stuff + Dinner Birthday night - Asian Party!    Day 11: Packing Up PCE Event! (go gavin!) Shopping with Steven and Heejung at lee gardens Gala Night! Bix Club - partying!!!! (weird encounter before sleep.......)
