Last days before School starts.Sunday, August 8, 2010 1) 30th July Fri Radio Welcome Tea!   One of my baby projects this holidays as secretary was the Welcome Tea! :) So glad it was a success! Very interesting to see newbies coming in and showing interest in us, makes me proud of what i did :) 2) 1st Aug Sun HQ Gathering :)  Back to the good old times with the HQ gang! We had a buffet dinner at a Thai restaurant and took the chance to catch up with everyone. Marc, Oh-my-tian JJ and Joshie were back from overseas so it was good to see them again after so long haha. Well, as usual, making fun of Jen was the highlight. Classic favourite, i say :) haha 3) 2nd Aug Mon Lunch &Raghelp with Hy, Yl and Xj Ah Ma (Yl) was back from her long overseas holidays and Fatimah (Hy) was back from HK, so time to gather who's left in singapore. haha. Lunching and catching up at Wendy's with Yl and Hy. Maria & Hc joined us later in school as we helped rag and talked about "drama episodes". hehe 3) 2nd Aug Mon Dinner with Gladeesee Gladeesee was back so i grabbed the chance to meet her before she gets too busy haha. Really sweet of her to send me an airmail when she was in taiwan :) Thanks my friend! Basically she was teaching the traits of being a better man the whole time. LOL haha. 4) 3rd Tues (& 5th Aug Thurs) Recruitment Interviews The fruits of my team's labour! haha It's most comforting to see people signing up for the interviews cause you know you must have done something right. 3 days of recruitment and we've interviewed close to 60 people. Fantastic! Can't imagine how i went through my horrendous interview and now i'm sitting on the other side of the interview table! HAHA :) How things have changed over one year is astonishing! haha 5) 4th Aug Wed Lunch at ZL's and Kite-flying! I took my day OFF from radio work to CHILLAX with my dear 165 gang :) And man, was it worth it . Had one of the most relaxing and fun days throughout this holidays (so much that i was energised and motivated to go back for interviews the next day!). Thanks to Chef Kek for the amazing 4 course lunch (delicious!). The gang also TRIED to get me to cycle, though it was quite a failure :X (damn, didnt manage to accomplish that "learn to cycle before sem starts" goal). But they made it up for my virgin Kite-flying experience. One word: LIBERATING! HAHA :)))   Lunch by Chef Kek   Cycling: not so good, Kite-flying: GREAT! haha  Thanks for the amazing day, my friends!   6) 6th Aug Fri Rag Day 2010  It's an understatement that i was high on Rag Day haha. Cheering is fun :) especially for my own department!
