I'm SICK. I just recovered from fever last night but i'm still feeling weak and uneasy but hopefully i'll feel better tomorrow! That's why i haven't been updating the past week...Monday, April 14, 2008 Well, nothing spectacular happened the past week which is actually also what happens every week. So i'll end here. haha. JK. Anyway, on Saturday morning i went with Viola/Fio to volunteer at The Salvation Army with their donated books library. Well, I heard from Viola/Fio that she was having a good time there and she was making good friends, despite the fact that most of the friends are much older than her. Most of the people there are working mums, plus a few young new working girls, who i suppose i very nice people since they volunteer their time willingly even after school. A spirit we should all learn from. Well, this is something i hope will turn into something permanent since it's always been a part of me to want to volunteer and do something meaningful with my own life. Not that i'm a useless person that's why i need to do sth to feel this way but i feel like i'm doing useless stuff (!!!). Joking... Hmm... Should put it more PC-ly. More like i want to achieve something (outside work) that gives me sense of satisfaction. haha. With this Salvation Army thing going on, and with my current attachment with ECO, that means i am under two different volunteer orgs. And i'm intending to join another volunteering opportunity related to NDP. Either i'm mad or i'm SERIOUSLY BORED right? haha. Whatever you think. haha. But it feels good in a way that i feel like i'm some kinda saint - saving the world haha! SO JOKING. Moving on, saturday night was all booked for Princess Clara! She's celebrating her 21st Birthday way in advance so as good jc friends lumpy and i had to go for it la! haha... Plus we were "CORDIALLY INVITED" (by sms no less) to it so no reason to turn it down haha. (Plus i have nth to do - dont talk abt it, i feel sad enough haha). The shocking thing was on friday she messaged us the details and turned out the theme was PINK. HAVE TO WEAR PINK!!! PINK. It's a colour i TOTALLY avoid. and i have no single shirt/pants (do they sell pink pants for guys?)! Argh... turned out i had to steal my younger bro's pink stripes shirt when he's not at home haha... But so interesting to see everyone turn up in Pink for our Pink Princess. Well, the party was alright, although most of the time we were scared of being thrown into the pool by Clara's crazy friend Katty. (fyi she did throw someone into the pool). Ok, since we're on it, let wish Princess Clara: HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY!!! Wishes: Grow (even more) Prettier, have fun (in studies and life) and Stay Pink!
