Listening to Chicago's "If You Leave Me Now" leaves me with a sentimental feeling as i write today's entry. Shall give you a glimpse of the lyrics and understand how such a simple song can translate words into our truest barest emotions.Friday, June 27, 2008 Weve come too far to leave it all behind How could we end it all this way When tomorrow comes well both regret Things we said today Pardon me for being sentimental. There comes a time you'll feel there's so much chaos and confusion in your life but then you see the inner peace at the same time. It's a weird but true feeling. Well, let's move on to my lookback for June. 1) Romantic Comedy Spree Well, it has been a month of very heartwarming love stories. A reminder of how chaotic and tiring life can be, i can always retreat to my bed and tune to my favourite romantic comedies. I have thus far, collected 19 of my favourite VCDs and to know i have them with me FOR LIFE is a consoling fact. (consoling because when i'm old, i know my VCDS will always be with me haha) For a fun fact, Kenny G and i turned totally *bitchy* to each other whenever we are on this topic cause we both want the same titles. haha. Thanks Kenny G for informing the VCD shop's moving out so i could steal a good bargain. and the bitchy moments (including MEAN GIRLS)! haha. 2) Joshua's ORD Ok Josh told me he didn't like my approach to my ORD entry dedicated to him. Sarcastic, just the way i like, but just the way he didn't. He has been a one-of-a-kind colleague, both funny, fun, and caring at the same time and i will certainly miss the times when we laugh on and on about the jokes we make and feel sad together when we are in less fortunate times. It's always good to have you around. Now i just have me and my good old telephone to accompany me through the days, a bit lonely. A bit, but still... lonely. haha. (Hope this do you justice, Josh. smiles) 3) All Change. Room I mean. My room turned from messy hell to gorgeous storage space haven! haha... (Yes B, i stole the intent of loving "storage space" phrase from you haha) It was not easy to pack up to clear my room, neither was it to pack up into my new room. But guess the work's all worth. Now i can truly call my room my sanctuary - a place where i can pour out every emotion and feel like myself, a place where i can unleash my inner superstar (haha) and drown under the moodiness of my own blues. whatever it is. 4) Triple Birthday Bash First of all, THANK YOU to my gd friends, friends and colleagues, anyone who remembered my birthday. It means a lot to be remembered. Even more to those who gave me a gift. Thanks ;) To my office colleagues who celebrated my birthday TWICE, once during Kbox and one at camp itself. I'm a little shrimp and i don't think i deserve all the niceness, especially when i'm not necessarily the nicest. Agree? haha. But thanks, it was a very nice and pleasant gesture on their part. To my good friend Kenny G as well as with Miss Ong and Gracie, a very big thanks to the surprise. You three certainly got me. It was very touching knowing you all planned this one for me. Kudos ;) 5) Family Celebration Another Birthday update but this time with my family. I know i'm not very close to my brothers but well, guess at least they took the effort to be there. Plus, it's better than being forgotten - though i doubt so cause they'll remember my mom's and we always celebrate our birthdays together. haha 6) Working for my Parents Well, it has its good and bad points. Good - i was allowed to do mostly nothing. Bad - i was bored death. Good - i could escape from office. Bad - i didn't get the rest i really needed. Good - there's no more. 7) NDP Trainings are pretty boring and i'm just hoping for the ne shows to start next months! 8) Regular Contact with friends Routines belong to Kenny G (for good or bad, we must make it more interesting!), and catch-ups are for Yang Sis and daily chats and grumblings are with JJ. This month i didn't get any chance for "gatherings" of any sort. What to Look Forward to in July 1) NE Shows for NDP. fireworks! and whatever high mood i might get into. (if i really do *fingers-crossed*) 2) Regular contact with friends As always. May the good always remain. May the best never fade. The barest month yet. But I just want a good rest.
